Black Feather

Black clothes in exercise feel like stepping into your own gravity—steady, focused, and unshakably composed. They drink in the heat and the effort, turning each drop of sweat into a quiet badge of resolve. In their darkness, they sharpen your movements, making every rep feel intentional, every breath deliberate. Wearing black is like training wrapped in discipline itself—a calm, powerful shadow that moves with you as you carve strength from silence.

I’m drawn to poetry because it lets me explore the delicate balance between light and shadow, softness and strength.

Black and white exist as eternal counterparts, two forces in quiet conversation. White stretches open like a blank promise, pure and weightless, while black gathers itself into depth, strength, and mystery. Together they form the rhythm of contrast—the dance between light and shadow, revelation and concealment, innocence and wisdom. In their duality, they remind us that clarity is born from opposition, and that beauty often lives not in choosing one or the other, but in the space where both meet and make each other whole.
